As announced earlier this year, fully living the #WomenForWomen motto, IWAM has chosen to partner with the Association for the Integration of Women (AIW) to support their mission: providing resources for migrant women to establish roots and flourish. IWAM, as an association of international women, we share their belief that migrant women are assets and we proudly support the integration of all women in Modena!

We’re proud to present the “Women For Women: Growing Together” (#W4WGrowingTogether) fundraising and awareness raising campaign. The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness and funds as AIW expands its impact through the launch of their new project, a one-of-a-kind, food-based social project, “ROOTS”.

The campaign will consist of a series of exciting, fun and inspiring events that the dedicated campaign team are planning! We are kicking off the campaign with the first event .

Apericena al Tramonto

September 22nd at 7.00pm

Place: Azienda Agricola Bersana, Via Fogliano 161, Fogliano

The event: We’ve planned a delicious “Apericena al Tramonto” in a scenic venue surrounded by hills. During the event, we’ll have a brief talk from Caroline Caporossi, founder and President of AIW. She will tell us about AIW’s work and how the collaboration with IWAM can make a difference. The event will also include a silent auction, a petting zoo and other activities, which we will disclose closer to the event.

Cost per adult: 25 euros – which includes a 10 euro donation which goes directly to AIW.

Cost per child (under 18 years): 15 euros

AIW works through its programs to increase the capacity, opportunity, and motivation of migrant women in order to help them realize their potential. The “ROOTS” project will be a social restaurant in the heart of Modena with a two-fold objective: offering holistic training to 16 migrant women each year, and at the same time, creating a platform to showcase their skills and food culture, creating a more inclusive Modena through the power of food.

• Every ticket costs 1,50 euros extra per adult ticket and 1 euro extra per child ticket because of the fees PayPal deducts for every payment they process.
• Once you proceed to the payment page on PayPal, you can either choose to log into your PayPal account or click on “Pay using a credit card”/ “Paga con una carta” right below it to simply use your credit card. You can switch to English at the bottom of the page.

‎L’evento: abbiamo programmato un delizioso “Apericena al Tramonto” in un luogo panoramico circondato da colline. Durante l’evento Caroline Caporossi, fondatrice e Presidente di AIW, terrà un breve discorso. Ci parlerà del lavoro di AIW e di come la collaborazione con IWAM possa fare la differenza. L’evento includerà anche un’asta silenziosa “silent auction”, una fattoria didattica e altre attività, che riveleremo all’approssimarsi dell’evento.‎

‎Costo per adulto:‎‎ 25 euro – che include una donazione di 10 euro che va direttamente ad AIW.‎
