Super Zampone – Castelnuovo Rangone

The annual Super Zampone festa is already well under way in Castelnuovo Rangone. This year’s Zampone weighs in at a hefty 750Kg. On Sunday from midday the Zampone will be served free with a side dish and a glass of lambrusco for everybody in the piazza. Don’t know what Zampone is? Then get along to Castelnuovo for a very typical and tasty local dish.
